Name: Piper Ochoa

Age: 15

Years at Academy: One

Family: Her parent's are Natalie and Eli Ochoa. Eli left her family when Piper was 8. She has 5 siblings- Kai, Josephine, Cecily, Theo, and Carlos. They are all younger than her and she loves them very dearly.

History: Piper and her family live in a small apartment in a not so great part of New York City. Her mother dreamed of being an author, but she had to drop out of college when she became pregnant with Piper. They have never had much money. Her mother works multiple shifts as a janitor just to feed the family. Because her mother was rarely home, Piper did most of the taking care of her younger siblings. Her father was never very close to any of his children and drank too much. Piper is almost glad he left, but she wishes he had not abandoned her mother, for she became quite depressed after. She often stood on the corner of two streets singing and playing music for money, which she gave to her mother. Though her siblings often stole money, she refused to, scolding them when they did so.
She has always been the sort that people are drawn to, a natural leader. She has many friends. She does alright in school, usually managing B's, but it is by no means one of her priorities.
When she was 12, her wisp, Kiki, bonded to her. She was singing and playing mandolin when she suddenly heard a voice in her head, and from then, she and Kiki became wonderful friends. A few years later, an Academy recruiter knocked on her door. Her mother was excited for her and wanted her to have a better life then she had. Plus, it was one less mouth to feed. At the academy, she made lots of friends and worked on developing her powers.

Physical Appearance: Piper has medium-dark skin and bright green eyes. She isn't sure what her ethnicity is. She has simply been told that she is a mixture of everything. She is slightly taller than average and quite toned from lots of training. She has brown hair that is cut quite choppily. Currently, some strands are dyed purple. She wears unique clothes, throwing together pieces from thrift stores into cool and dramatic combinations combinations. She has several piercings in her ears.

Personality: Piper is free-spirited. She does what she wants to do and cares nothing for what others think of her. She has never been one to follow the crowd. She has a great, droll sense of humor. She is very creative and loves to try new things. She is always friendly and loves to help others. She can be a bit motherly because she is so used to caring for her siblings. Others describe her as both fun and mature. She is quite rebellious and doesn't particularly care for authority figures. She is also quite disorganized and scatterbrained.

Wisp: Kiki is sarcastic and Piper finds her a bit annoying, but she has come to love her. Kiki is a bit socially awkward and is often confused. She is a bit like an annoying younger sister to Piper.

Wisp Class: Matter

Powers: Intangibility. Piper can manipulate her molecules so that she can move through solid objects and levitate, though she cannot move through incredibly dense objects. She can also turn invisible for short periods of time.

Weakness: She doesn't like to do what she is told to do. She doesn't listen to the advice of others, preferring to do things on her own. Because she doesn't listen to others and take other's advice, she is often stuck in situations she wouldn't have been in if she would have simply done what she was told.

Talents: Piper loves to sing and does so quite well. She also plays several different instruments, including mandolin, guitar, banjo, and hammered dulcimer.

Other: She does not like pizza.

Everything looks good except we kinda have a thing against time powers. after all even if you can only stop time for a couple minutes, first off that would mean your stopping the entire universe in it's tracks, also it only takes a few seconds to get a good stab or six in.

then there is time travel, which just over-complicates everything. A well as is way to easy to abuse and generally too difficult to input into an RP.

I don't mind illusions of manipulating time, like speeding up or slowing down mental/bodily functions, but not full on. (Jake's words) Super speed for example (which if you decide to use would probably have a side effect of your body consuming nutrients faster, basically you would have to eat alot more than a normal person.)
